Online Counselling

If you are reading this then I am guessing that you are a parent who is struggling yourself or you are worried about your child, or both. Often people are at crisis point when they look for support. You may be struggling with low mood, relationship issues, loneliness, depression, anxiety, thoughts of self-harm or suicide. Or you may be worried about your child experiencing these difficult emotional states.

And you want things to be better. I can’t offer to fix everything (I wish counsellors had that superpower, but we don’t). But I can offer to be alongside you on your journey and empower you and your family to find your own unique way through the challenges you are facing.

Some benefits of online counselling

  • I offer flexible options – chat, email, phone, WhatsApp, FaceTime, Zoom, virtual sandtrays, games or avatar therapy – so you can choose the method that suits you best.

  • No clinical rooms or unfamiliar environments – just you, in the place you feel safest. This can help reduce anxiety and support deeper, more relaxed conversations.

  • If you live in a remote area, have a busy schedule, limited childcare, or a disability that makes travel difficult – online counselling brings support to you.

  • No need to arrange travel or juggle logistics – online sessions can work around naps, school runs, or your child’s needs.

  • Meeting from your own environment helps rebalance power in the therapeutic space – you’re not entering my office, we’re meeting on level ground.

  • If you experience social anxiety, sensory overwhelm, or find traditional settings hard to tolerate, online or phone-based support can feel much more manageable.
